This is a CD 162 insulator with a smooth base. It is a two tone that is half blue and half purple. The top is mostly purple, and the base is mostly blue, but there is no straight line of separation -- the areas move as you turn the insulator -- and the wire groove shows both colors. The embossing is CALIFORNIA. The bottom photo shows it in between an aqua mouse and a delft McLaughlin.
There is a straw mark on the dome that snakes around the left side and shows a little in the front. There are a few small bubbles in the dome, a larger one in the wire groove, and a long teardrop bubble in the top of the dome. The rim of the base is slightly rough from extra glass here and there. There is a small rock on the top of the dome. These are part of the manufacturing process and not damage. The only damage is a small spot on the front, above the N, which looks like a triple ding (the top two are whitish and the bottom one is missing a flake of glass).
